Surah At-Takathur ( The piling Up ) - Aya count 8
أَلۡهَىٰكُمُ ٱلتَّكَاثُرُ ﰀ ﴿١﴾
The mutual rivalry for piling up (the good things of this world) diverts you (from the more serious things),
حَتَّىٰ زُرۡتُمُ ٱلۡمَقَابِرَ ﰁ ﴿٢﴾
Until ye visit the graves.
كَلَّا سَوۡفَ تَعۡلَمُونَ ﰂ ﴿٣﴾
But nay, ye soon shall know (the reality).
ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَوۡفَ تَعۡلَمُونَ ﰃ ﴿٤﴾
Again, ye soon shall know!
كَلَّا لَوۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ عِلۡمَ ٱلۡيَقِينِ ﰄ ﴿٥﴾
Nay, were ye to know with certainty of mind, (ye would beware!)
لَتَرَوُنَّ ٱلۡجَحِيمَ ﰅ ﴿٦﴾
Ye shall certainly see Hell-Fire!
ثُمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّهَا عَيۡنَ ٱلۡيَقِينِ ﰆ ﴿٧﴾
Again, ye shall see it with certainty of sight!
ثُمَّ لَتُسۡـَٔلُنَّ يَوۡمَئِذٍ عَنِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ ﰇ ﴿٨﴾
Then, shall ye be questioned that Day about the joy (ye indulged in!).
