Surah Al-Fil ( The Elephant ) - Aya count 5
أَلَمۡ تَرَ كَيۡفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِأَصۡحَٰبِ ٱلۡفِيلِ ﰀ ﴿١﴾
Seest thou not how thy Lord dealt with the Companions of the Elephant?
أَلَمۡ يَجۡعَلۡ كَيۡدَهُمۡ فِي تَضۡلِيلٖ ﰁ ﴿٢﴾
Did He not make their treacherous plan go astray?
وَأَرۡسَلَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ طَيۡرًا أَبَابِيلَ ﰂ ﴿٣﴾
And He sent against them Flights of Birds,
تَرۡمِيهِم بِحِجَارَةٖ مِّن سِجِّيلٖ ﰃ ﴿٤﴾
Striking them with stones of baked clay.
فَجَعَلَهُمۡ كَعَصۡفٖ مَّأۡكُولِۭ ﰄ ﴿٥﴾
Then did He make them like an empty field of stalks and straw, (of which the corn) has been eaten up.
