Surah Al-Ma'un ( Small Kindnesses ) - Aya count 7
أَرَءَيۡتَ ٱلَّذِي يُكَذِّبُ بِٱلدِّينِ ﰀ ﴿١﴾
Seest thou one who denies the Judgment (to come)?
فَذَٰلِكَ ٱلَّذِي يَدُعُّ ٱلۡيَتِيمَ ﰁ ﴿٢﴾
Then such is the (man) who repulses the orphan (with harshness),
وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ ٱلۡمِسۡكِينِ ﰂ ﴿٣﴾
And encourages not the feeding of the indigent.
فَوَيۡلٞ لِّلۡمُصَلِّينَ ﰃ ﴿٤﴾
So woe to the worshippers
ٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ عَن صَلَاتِهِمۡ سَاهُونَ ﰄ ﴿٥﴾
Who are neglectful of their prayers,
ٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ يُرَآءُونَ ﰅ ﴿٦﴾
Those who (want but) to be seen (of men),
وَيَمۡنَعُونَ ٱلۡمَاعُونَ ﰆ ﴿٧﴾
But refuse (to supply) (even) neighbourly needs.
