Surah Al-Mursalat ( Those sent forth ) - Aya count 50
وَٱلۡمُرۡسَلَٰتِ عُرۡفٗا ﰀ ﴿١﴾
By the (Winds) sent forth one after another (to man's profit);
فَٱلۡعَٰصِفَٰتِ عَصۡفٗا ﰁ ﴿٢﴾
Which then blow violently in tempestuous Gusts,
وَٱلنَّٰشِرَٰتِ نَشۡرٗا ﰂ ﴿٣﴾
And scatter (things) far and wide;
فَٱلۡفَٰرِقَٰتِ فَرۡقٗا ﰃ ﴿٤﴾
Then separate them, one from another,
فَٱلۡمُلۡقِيَٰتِ ذِكۡرًا ﰄ ﴿٥﴾
Then spread abroad a Message,
عُذۡرًا أَوۡ نُذۡرًا ﰅ ﴿٦﴾
Whether of Justification or of Warning;-
إِنَّمَا تُوعَدُونَ لَوَٰقِعٞ ﰆ ﴿٧﴾
Assuredly, what ye are promised must come to pass.
فَإِذَا ٱلنُّجُومُ طُمِسَتۡ ﰇ ﴿٨﴾
Then when the stars become dim;
وَإِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ فُرِجَتۡ ﰈ ﴿٩﴾
When the heaven is cleft asunder;
وَإِذَا ٱلۡجِبَالُ نُسِفَتۡ ﰉ ﴿١٠﴾
When the mountains are scattered (to the winds) as dust;
وَإِذَا ٱلرُّسُلُ أُقِّتَتۡ ﰊ ﴿١١﴾
And when the messengers are (all) appointed a time (to collect);-
لِأَيِّ يَوۡمٍ أُجِّلَتۡ ﰋ ﴿١٢﴾
For what Day are these (portents) deferred?
لِيَوۡمِ ٱلۡفَصۡلِ ﰌ ﴿١٣﴾
For the Day of Sorting out.
وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا يَوۡمُ ٱلۡفَصۡلِ ﰍ ﴿١٤﴾
And what will explain to thee what is the Day of Sorting out?
وَيۡلٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ ﰎ ﴿١٥﴾
Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth!
أَلَمۡ نُهۡلِكِ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ ﰏ ﴿١٦﴾
Did We not destroy the men of old (for their evil)?
ثُمَّ نُتۡبِعُهُمُ ٱلۡأٓخِرِينَ ﰐ ﴿١٧﴾
So shall We make later (generations) follow them.
كَذَٰلِكَ نَفۡعَلُ بِٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ ﰑ ﴿١٨﴾
Thus do We deal with men of sin.
وَيۡلٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ ﰒ ﴿١٩﴾
Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth!
أَلَمۡ نَخۡلُقكُّم مِّن مَّآءٖ مَّهِينٖ ﰓ ﴿٢٠﴾
Have We not created you from a fluid (held) despicable?-
فَجَعَلۡنَٰهُ فِي قَرَارٖ مَّكِينٍ ﰔ ﴿٢١﴾
The which We placed in a place of rest, firmly fixed,
إِلَىٰ قَدَرٖ مَّعۡلُومٖ ﰕ ﴿٢٢﴾
For a period (of gestation), determined (according to need)?
فَقَدَرۡنَا فَنِعۡمَ ٱلۡقَٰدِرُونَ ﰖ ﴿٢٣﴾
For We do determine (according to need); for We are the best to determine (things).
وَيۡلٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ ﰗ ﴿٢٤﴾
Ah woe, that Day! to the Rejecters of Truth!
أَلَمۡ نَجۡعَلِ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ كِفَاتًا ﰘ ﴿٢٥﴾
Have We not made the earth (as a place) to draw together.
أَحۡيَآءٗ وَأَمۡوَٰتٗا ﰙ ﴿٢٦﴾
وَجَعَلۡنَا فِيهَا رَوَٰسِيَ شَٰمِخَٰتٖ وَأَسۡقَيۡنَٰكُم مَّآءٗ فُرَاتٗا ﰚ ﴿٢٧﴾
And made therein mountains standing firm, lofty (in stature); and provided for you water sweet (and wholesome)?
وَيۡلٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ ﰛ ﴿٢٨﴾
Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth!
ٱنطَلِقُوٓاْ إِلَىٰ مَا كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ ﰜ ﴿٢٩﴾
(It will be said:) "Depart ye to that which ye used to reject as false!
ٱنطَلِقُوٓاْ إِلَىٰ ظِلّٖ ذِي ثَلَٰثِ شُعَبٖ ﰝ ﴿٣٠﴾
"Depart ye to a Shadow (of smoke ascending) in three columns,
لَّا ظَلِيلٖ وَلَا يُغۡنِي مِنَ ٱللَّهَبِ ﰞ ﴿٣١﴾
"(Which yields) no shade of coolness, and is of no use against the fierce Blaze.
إِنَّهَا تَرۡمِي بِشَرَرٖ كَٱلۡقَصۡرِ ﰟ ﴿٣٢﴾
"Indeed it throws about sparks (huge) as Forts,
كَأَنَّهُۥ جِمَٰلَتٞ صُفۡرٞ ﰠ ﴿٣٣﴾
"As if there were (a string of) yellow camels (marching swiftly)."
وَيۡلٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ ﰡ ﴿٣٤﴾
Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth!
هَٰذَا يَوۡمُ لَا يَنطِقُونَ ﰢ ﴿٣٥﴾
That will be a Day when they shall not be able to speak.
وَلَا يُؤۡذَنُ لَهُمۡ فَيَعۡتَذِرُونَ ﰣ ﴿٣٦﴾
Nor will it be open to them to put forth pleas.
وَيۡلٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ ﰤ ﴿٣٧﴾
Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth!
هَٰذَا يَوۡمُ ٱلۡفَصۡلِۖ جَمَعۡنَٰكُمۡ وَٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ ﰥ ﴿٣٨﴾
That will be a Day of Sorting out! We shall gather you together and those before (you)!
فَإِن كَانَ لَكُمۡ كَيۡدٞ فَكِيدُونِ ﰦ ﴿٣٩﴾
Now, if ye have a trick (or plot), use it against Me!
وَيۡلٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ ﰧ ﴿٤٠﴾
Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth!
إِنَّ ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ فِي ظِلَٰلٖ وَعُيُونٖ ﰨ ﴿٤١﴾
As to the Righteous, they shall be amidst (cool) shades and springs (of water).
وَفَوَٰكِهَ مِمَّا يَشۡتَهُونَ ﰩ ﴿٤٢﴾
And (they shall have) fruits,- all they desire.
كُلُواْ وَٱشۡرَبُواْ هَنِيٓـَٔۢا بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ ﰪ ﴿٤٣﴾
"Eat ye and drink ye to your heart's content: for that ye worked (Righteousness).
إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ ﰫ ﴿٤٤﴾
Thus do We certainly reward the Doers of Good.
وَيۡلٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ ﰬ ﴿٤٥﴾
Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth!
كُلُواْ وَتَمَتَّعُواْ قَلِيلًا إِنَّكُم مُّجۡرِمُونَ ﰭ ﴿٤٦﴾
(O ye unjust!) Eat ye and enjoy yourselves (but) a little while, for that ye are Sinners.
وَيۡلٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ ﰮ ﴿٤٧﴾
Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth!
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ٱرۡكَعُواْ لَا يَرۡكَعُونَ ﰯ ﴿٤٨﴾
And when it is said to them, "Prostrate yourselves!" they do not so.
وَيۡلٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ ﰰ ﴿٤٩﴾
Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth!
فَبِأَيِّ حَدِيثِۭ بَعۡدَهُۥ يُؤۡمِنُونَ ﰱ ﴿٥٠﴾
Then what Message, after that, will they believe in?
