Surah As-Sharh ( The Opening Forth) - Aya count 8
أَلَمۡ نَشۡرَحۡ لَكَ صَدۡرَكَ ﰀ ﴿١﴾
Have We not expanded thee thy breast?-
وَوَضَعۡنَا عَنكَ وِزۡرَكَ ﰁ ﴿٢﴾
And removed from thee thy burden
ٱلَّذِيٓ أَنقَضَ ظَهۡرَكَ ﰂ ﴿٣﴾
The which did gall thy back?-
وَرَفَعۡنَا لَكَ ذِكۡرَكَ ﰃ ﴿٤﴾
And raised high the esteem (in which) thou (art held)?
فَإِنَّ مَعَ ٱلۡعُسۡرِ يُسۡرًا ﰄ ﴿٥﴾
So, verily, with every difficulty, there is relief:
إِنَّ مَعَ ٱلۡعُسۡرِ يُسۡرٗا ﰅ ﴿٦﴾
Verily, with every difficulty there is relief.
فَإِذَا فَرَغۡتَ فَٱنصَبۡ ﰆ ﴿٧﴾
Therefore, when thou art free (from thine immediate task), still labour hard,
وَإِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ فَٱرۡغَب ﰇ ﴿٨﴾
And to thy Lord turn (all) thy attention.
