Surah Az-Zalzalah ( The Earthquake ) - Aya count 8
إِذَا زُلۡزِلَتِ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ زِلۡزَالَهَا ﰀ ﴿١﴾
When the earth is shaken to her (utmost) convulsion,
وَأَخۡرَجَتِ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ أَثۡقَالَهَا ﰁ ﴿٢﴾
And the earth throws up her burdens (from within),
وَقَالَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ مَا لَهَا ﰂ ﴿٣﴾
And man cries (distressed): 'What is the matter with her?'-
يَوۡمَئِذٖ تُحَدِّثُ أَخۡبَارَهَا ﰃ ﴿٤﴾
On that Day will she declare her tidings:
بِأَنَّ رَبَّكَ أَوۡحَىٰ لَهَا ﰄ ﴿٥﴾
For that thy Lord will have given her inspiration.
يَوۡمَئِذٖ يَصۡدُرُ ٱلنَّاسُ أَشۡتَاتٗا لِّيُرَوۡاْ أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ ﰅ ﴿٦﴾
On that Day will men proceed in companies sorted out, to be shown the deeds that they (had done).
فَمَن يَعۡمَلۡ مِثۡقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيۡرٗا يَرَهُۥ ﰆ ﴿٧﴾
Then shall anyone who has done an atom's weight of good, see it!
وَمَن يَعۡمَلۡ مِثۡقَالَ ذَرَّةٖ شَرّٗا يَرَهُۥ ﰇ ﴿٨﴾
And anyone who has done an atom's weight of evil, shall see it.
